# Avoid jumping slide titles

In order to give a consistent viewing experience, it is crucial that the slide title is placed and formatted consistently throughout the presentation. 

Most client guidelines contain strict formatting styles for titles.

A quick way to check if everything is fine, is to flip through the presentation and see if the titles “jump”.
Most often, just by using the title placeholders of a slide template will help you avoid jumping slide titles.
