Introduction

In this article we will explain the paid test projects further, what is expected, and how to do well. You can only start this step once you have passed the application test, filled your profile details, have watched the onboarding video, and completed your first informal interview with an admin.

What is a test project?

The test project is where you can really experience what it is like to work with us. You will experience the Knowmore Platform in its entirety, you will see what a project is like, you will have live admins available to give you feedback and to guide you, you will learn about our expectations and you shall have access to all of its resources - link.

You can only initiate a test project on weekdays between 07:00 and 23:00 CET. Each test project has a deadline of 8 hours from the moment you start it. Make sure that you set aside enough time to be able to fully focus on it. Inside a test project you will have all the standard materials you need to complete it, client input, client guideline and client inspirations. To offer you further help, you will also find training documents inside them to read so you can do your best.

Expectations

In the test projects we observe not only your design skills but your professional behaviour, comprehension and communication skills as well. We expect you to design a PowerPoint deck following a given guideline perfectly, show us your creativit

Can I try again if I failed?

The process to become a fully fledged KnowMore Platform specialist is quite long and difficult. We appreciation your persistence, however it is not possible to restart the process or retake specific parts of it to become a PowerPoint specialist on the platform.

Application

If you reach a minimum standard, reviewers will allow you to try again. However if you fail, we will not reset your application The standard for passing the test is very high. based on your initial attempt we do not feel that resetting the application would allow you to progress enough in another application attempt.

Test projects and final interview

During the application process, we observe at your design and technical skills, the behaviour and communication you exhibit during the two test projects and finally in the interview view logic, comprehension and abstraction skills. The decision to allow you to move into the Assessment phase is based on the combination of your results in all of these.

Assessment phase

In the assessment phase you need to continuously receive good ratings to be able to get new projects. Should you get a series of bad ratings, finding projects and getting allocated to them will less likely.

Assessment phase

What is the assessment phase?

To ease you into working and designing PowerPoint slides for KnowMore Platform and our clients, your first 10 live projects belong to the Assessment phase. During these projects we still take into account that you are new on the platform and require more guidance from the admins. This is where you will truly experience what it is to work with us.

The assessment phase has the following restrictions to enhance your learning curve, you will only be able to apply for tasks with the following characteristics:

Duration: Less than 3 hours long Type: PowerPoint (no Word or Excel tasks) Deadline: Projects will have a longer deadline compared to average projects on the platform Guidelines and inspiration: You will only work on projects that contain approved client guidelines and inspirational material, so you can see what your deliverable should look like

Once you have completed +10 projects you will get access to more kinds of projects, large ones, ones with shorter deadlines, not strictly PowerPoint and etc. If you do well here, you will seamlessly progress forward and become a fully fledged KnowMore PowerPoint freelancer specialist for us.

What happens after you have passed the application test?

Once you pass the application test, first you will get an e-mail with the good news! After this this notification, when you log in, your view of KnowMore Platform will be different.

You will need to complete all of the following steps to move on in the process of becoming a freelance PowerPoint specialist.
