How to build custom shapes correctly

The slide frame is one of the most important concepts we use at Knowmore Platform Most client guidelines include a well-defined slide frame. Usually you will see a similar yellow box like below in the first few slides of a guideline. There will also be red dashed lines as well. PowerPoint terminology calls these lines guides. What does it mean when an admin points out alignment issues? When Admin says there is a misalignment in a slide, it normally covers a few of below points. Are all elements vertically aligned? All all elements horizontally aligned? Are arrows perfectly aligned? Do all elements fit to slide frame? Are all texts and elements aligned? The icon style should be identical across the deck. Usually the icon style is defined in the guidelines, so always please check it beforehand. Most client guidelines contain strict formatting styles for titles. A quick way to check if everything is fine, is to flip through the presentation and see if the titles “jump”.
