What is the PowerPoint Eyedropper tool?



The Eyedropper tool helps you match the colours in your slides. You can use it when you want to extract the colour of shapes, pictures, or any other elements present on your slide.

How to copy and transferring a colour with the Eyedropper in PowerPoint?


Click on the element you want to recolour
On the Format or Shape Format tab, select Shape Fill (if you're colouring a shape) or Text Fill (if you're colouring text).
Next, select the eyedropper.

Then, choose the colour you want to apply. As you move your pointer around, a live preview of the colour will appears. Hover or pause on a colour to see its RGB (Red Green Blue) values. Click the color you want to use, it will immediately applied to the selected element
Press Esc to turn off the Eyedropper tool if you do not want to pick a colour
