At KnowMore Platform we have an average speed expectation of our designers. This is based on the speed of our admins and well performing designers already working on our platform. In general, you should be able to create 1-3 visual enhancements per hour and 2-6 brush-ups per hour. Admins use an automatic calculator to define how much time a project is worth, but they also consider the difficulty of a given projects (detail level, content quantity, client expectations, repeating slides, etc)
Your general slide creation speed is quite slow, under our expected level
Find out what sort of projects you are particularly slow in completing and gain competence in them
Consider using short cuts like Keyboard shortcut for PowerPoint and PowerPoint Quick Access Bar
Familiarize yourself with various resources, learn to use efficient keyword to limit the time you spend searching
